Talking Points Memo made a nice catch on an attempt at humor by (quite likely) conservative Republicans. The Republicans have been playing up this theme that President Obama is spending all this money (ignoring the deficits run up by George W. Bush, the two wars he got us in and the economy that administration allowed to deteriorate). But, in what could maybe have been a funny attempt at humor, the “creators” of this joke ultimately clowned themselves with a disappointing error.
Republicans get the expiration date wrong. Oops!
President Obama is in office until January 2013.
