I found this on Booker Rising, which also took a personal shot at Rose early in the blog entry.
Jalen Rose recently questioned the blackness of college basketball players coming from two parent, middle class backgrounds. The conservative Pajamas TV host gives his thoughts on NCAA basketball and asks: does wealth or education make one an "Uncle Tom"? Does poverty and single parenthood define race? There is no embeddable video, but you can view Mr. Hicks' commentary here.
First of all, Rose did not recently question the blackness of college basketball players.
The documentary was produced and broadcast recently, however Rose was talking about his impressions (as a teenager) of the Duke program and some of its players.

Mr G:
When the Republican judge Pickering was blocked from approval by congress for a paper he wrote in the 1950's as a college student in which he told of his personal opposition to INTERRACIAL MARRIAGE - and sounded similar to the Black Females of today - DID YOU provide protective cover to him as you claimed that these were words said as a "youthful indiscretion"?
How long can you keep this up sir?
I will familiarize myself with Pickering. However, if a person has matured in their thinking then a prior wrong thought is far more easily forgiven.
