Here is the anatomy of a mischaracterization of a statement made by Jalen Rose from his time as a basketball star at the University of Michigan.

Jalen Rose recently questioned the blackness of college basketball players coming from two parent, middle class backgrounds. The conservative Pajamas TV host gives his thoughts on NCAA basketball and asks: does wealth or education make one an "Uncle Tom"? Does poverty and single parenthood define race? First of all, Rose did not recently question the blackness of college basketball players.

The documentary was produced and broadcast recently, however Rose was talking about his impressions (as a teenager) of the Duke program and some of its players.
