Robert Bobb Responds To Shepard Smith’s Stupid Comment About Detroit

Robert Bobb, the emergency financial manager for Detroit Public Schools had this to say about reckless comments made by Fox News commentator Shepard Smith, who said “If my kid were in Detroit, I’d try to burn the place down,” during a discussion about the school district’s poor academic record illustrated by a recent report.

BOBB: To hell with him. Who the hell does he think he is? There’s nothing wrong with these kids’ minds. Maybe something’s wrong with the adults.

Here is another excerpt:
Bobb says “there’s nothing wrong” with the minds of Detroit students. Bobb has been in charge of district finances since March. He recently asked state lawmakers to also give him control over academics.
Smith made those idiotic comments and showed just how increasingly reckless commentators are getting as the line between news and scarcely considered opinion is now barely visible.

Indoctrination … Where Were Republicans When This Indoctrination Was Taking Place?

This guy was truly dangerous … especially to those on Elm Street … this was like 1984, too.

This is the real dangerous indoctrination of children.

It’s not just American children either who were being indoctrinated. The indoctrination apparently has spread to other countries and cultures:

It’s all about Freddy!

Tyler Perry Does The Right Thing

How traumatic must it have been for those kids to, in essence, be booted from that suburban Philadelphia swimming pool due to racism? Thankfully, one of the biggest names in show business is stepping forward to do something nice for those kids who had to experience the ugly side of the human experience. Tyler Perry is going to do something that will help those kids say, “I’M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!”

PHILADELPHIA — Tyler Perry is paying for 65 children from a Philadelphia day camp to go to Walt Disney World after reading about allegations that a suburban swim club had shunned them because of racism.

The black and Hispanic children who attend the day camp run by Creative Steps Inc. cheered Monday when they learned about the actor’s gift.

Creative Steps director Alethea Wright says she’s thrilled about the offer, especially because Perry “comes from humble beginnings” like the children in her camp.

That’s great news. We’ve seen enough of the ugly side of the human spirit and it warms the heart to see the more pleasant side of the human spirit.
