Kwame Kilpatrick Needs To Step Aside

It's time for beyond disgraced Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick to step aside and paved the way for someone else to take his place and begin to clean up the mess that has become of the city. Kilpatrick's legal difficulties with respect to the text messaging scandal and everything. But, now we have an alleged assault of a Wayne County Sheriff deputy - apparently by Kilpatrick himself. It's time for the mayor to step down from his post and spare the city any further disgrace in the eyes of Southeast Michigan, the state of Michigan as a whole, and the nation. The city can no longer afford to pay the price(s) of its association with Kilpatrick. If Kilpatrick truly loves and cares about the city, he will do the right thing and step aside.
