WNBA is a Joke

Detroit Shock assistant coach Rick Mahorn was suspended two games for his role in the so-called "brawl" at the Palace involving the Shock and Los Angeles Sparks. Mahorn's two-game suspension was an atrocity. I'll give him a game, but how can Mahorn get two games (for accidentally knocking Leslie down; although I call it a flop) and one player who was throwing punches at him only get one? This is a case where women want to have it both ways. They want to be treated equally, but then when a situation comes up with a man they want to play the innocent woman card and punish big bad Rick Mahorn who clearly was a peacemaker. Total miscarriage of justice by the WNBA and maybe that is part of the reason they're playing in empty arenas. It irritates and disappoints me because I am a big fan of girls high school basketball, women's college basketball and once upon a time of women's professional basketball. This has done nothing to make me feel better about my love for women's pro basketball. Some individuals think they're lokoing tough by coming down so hard on Mahorn while letting Sparks star players (Leslie, Milton-Jones and Parker) off with slaps on the wrist. Seems someone has their finger pressed down on one of the scales of justice.
