Jon Voight Calling Anyone A Failure Is Laughable

Actor Jon Voight, who has given us cinematic masterpieces such as “Anaconda,” was on full display at a Republican fundraiser attacking President Obama.

Here is an excerpt from a Fox News story:

Actor Jon Voight, who hosted the dinner, delivered a particularly harsh rebuke to Obama, saying he was “embarrassed” by the president and that Obama’s leadership would cause the “downfall” of the country.

“We are becoming a weak nation,” he said, calling Obama a “false prophet” and his administration the “Obama oppression.”

We have not and will not be a weak nation. In fact, we are a stronger nation now because President Obama and his administration are working hard to rebuild relationships with other nations of the world. We lost support from some of these nations during the previous administration when a cowboy, old-west mentality made us think we could run roughshod over the world.

It’s a shame that Voight thinks so little of the United States of America.

As I’ve said before, we were here long before Jon Voight was born and we will be here long after he is gone. No amount of scare tactics or smearing of the United States of America will change that reality.

Apparently Jon Voight didn’t see the mess we had become at the end of the Bush Administration: soaring deficits, two wars overseas, an economic collapse, a worldwide economic collapse, the alienation of the United States of America worldwide, soldiers dying overseas and more.
