Sean Hannity's Show: Isn't It Moronic?

For Sean Hannity’s new theme music for his Fox News solo show, we should do another remake of the old Alanis Morrisette song “Ironic” and call it “Moronic.” One of the sports radio stations in Detroit did a remake of this song and called it “Moronic” and used it for describing the Detroit Lions. That was years ago, and come to think of it … it could still apply.

“Moronic”

An old-school conservative filled with hate
He won a new solo show to make us cry the next day
It’s a clipped toenail in your Chardonnay
His show’s a death row pardon 30 seconds too late
And isn’t Hannity moronic… don’t you think

It’s like hail storm on your wedding day
It’s that bounced check from work when you thought you were paid
It’s that good advice you just didn’t take
Who would’ve thought… it figures

Mr. player hate guy who think he’s so fly
He won’t pack his suitcases and make his show go buh-bye
He waited his whole damn life to take political hate to a new whole height
And as racist cartoons came out about Obama he probably thought
“Well, isn’t this nice…”
And isn’t Hannity moronic… don’t you think

It’s like hail storm crashing down on your wedding day
It’s that bounced check from work when you thought you were paid
It’s that word from the wise you just didn’t take
Who would’ve thought… it figures

Well Hannity has a funny way of player hatin’ on you
When I thought he was callin’ it straight, well, he fooled me too

A paper jam for a meeting and you’re running late
A rich white guy who thinks poor blacks get every break
It’s the poor ole conservative who thinks Bush can’t get a fair shake
It’s meeting the woman of your dreams
And finding out she’s really a dude
Hannity’s moronic…don’t you think
He’s more than a little moronic…and, yeah, I really do think…

It’s like hail storm on your wedding day
It’s a bounced check from work when you thought you were paid
It’s that good advice you just didn’t take
Who would’ve thought… it figures

Hannity has a funny way of sneaking up on you
He has a funny, funny way of praising Bush
All up in his Bush
