Caroline Kennedy Out Of Running For New York Senate Seat

It appears that Caroline Kennedy is no longer in the running to fill the United States Senate seat (from New York) vacated by newly-confirmed Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. This ends weeks of speculation and whining (from conservatives still whining because they feel their precious Sarah Palin was roughed up by the big-bad “mainstream media” while Kennedy was not). Hopefully, Gov. Paterson will be able to find someone to fill that important seat and I doubt he will have any shortage of qualified candidates to replace Clinton. She has only indicated that she has withdrawn her name for personal reasons. But, as we know, her uncle (Sen. Ted Kennedy) has been in poor health and had a frightening episode during an inaugural lunch on Tuesday.
