Using Fox News As A Platform, Rush Limbaugh Trashes President Barack Obama Emphasizing Race

Extremist right winger Rush Limbaugh again trashes President Barack Obama thanks to a platform provided to him by Fox News and fellow right-wing extremist Sean Hannity. Both Limbaugh and Hannity have documented history of saying things that are either racist or racially insensitive, and both work to appeal hard to the far right of the Republican Party. Here is a comment made by Limbaugh as he was being interviewed by Hannity: “We are being told that we have to hope he succeeds, that we have to bend over, grab the ankles … because his father was black” Republicans, including the likes of Limbaugh and Hannity, chastised people who disagreed with the president as being unpatriotic or as haters of America or something. We were all supposed to rally together around or president and around or Commander-in-Chief. This is what Americans are supposed to do, or so we were told so often by those on the far right. Now that a Democrat is in office however, things have changed. Now, when there is a call to support the president and support the country and support the troops and to want the nation to do well … people like Limbaugh insists we only want President Obama to succeed “because his father was black.” Limbaugh never resists an opportunity to negatively slash a person using any means necessary … particularly if they’re black (ask Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb). Does this mean that Limbaugh is unpatriotic? Does this mean Limbaugh is against the troops? Does this mean Limbaugh is emboldening our enemies? Does this mean Limbaugh is being anti-American? Maybe we should have Rep. Michele Bachmann (a modern-day Joe McCarthy) get right on that.
