Michigan Football Not Looking Pretty So Far ... But, It's Still Early

Granted, Michigan is in its first season under head coach Rich Rodriguez, but so far it has been anything but pretty for the maize and blue. The football team is off to a 1-1 start with a season-opening loss to Utah (not a huge surprise and not a major upset) followed up by a hard-fought win over Miami of Ohio (maybe that one was a little disturbing in spite of the fact that it does go in the books as a win). Rodriguez needs some time, but he will get it going. This is going to be a big of a transition season, but don't start throwing dirt on Michigan's football grave (this program is not going to fade away). Rodriguez is recruiting fairly well and he just needs to figure out the quarterback situation and that will allow the team to begin to put some points up on the scoreboard. Give it time. It will work.
