We know that conservatives/Republicans have been going out of their way to describe Sen. Barack Obama as an elitist ... a code word for the more offensive term, "uppity." Many Republicans and conservatives view Obama as stepping out of his place and some have done everything short of call him "boy." The latest individual to view Obama, and his wife Michelle, as overstepping his bounds in this presidential election is Georgia Republican Rep. Lynn Westmoreland. Here is the quote, from The Hill, "Just from what little I’ve seen of her (Michelle) and Mr. Obama, Sen. Obama, they're a member of an elitist-class individual that thinks that they're uppity." It's amazing when you here this kind of borderline hate speech that seeks to marginalize black people who are intelligent, successful, hard-working, etc. It's sickening.
