Fox News has a habit of searching for new and different ways of bashing President Barack Obama while praising former President George W. Bush. In this case, however, Fox hit the jackpot as it was able to trash President Obama while also trashing former president Bill Clinton. Obviously, Obama and Clinton are Democrats and thus are considered enemies to Fox News.
Here is a quote I found interesting:
“To me, being tardy, it’s got to be one of two things,” said presidential historian Doug Wead, who advised both Bush and his father, George H.W. Bush. “Bad organization that can be corrected, or it’s arrogance. It sounds to me like this is arrogance.”
Wead is playing on the familiar attack point for the Republicans: Obama is arrogant and uppity. It’s not politically correct for people to use the term uppity (although some Republicans have) so the word that is generally substituted for it is “arrogant.” Republicans are so hypocritical to refer to anyone as being arrogant. The article is interesting because it praises George W. Bush for being on time. But, considering everything that happened during his administration, it’s pretty sad if the best thing you can say about a president is that he was on time. This is an article that is nothing more than a partisan hit piece that is probably better suited for a tabloid magazine you bypass in the line at the grocery store.
