Can you imagine if a black man went out and started attacking people in the wake of the 2000 election of George W. Bush as president of the United States of America? Fox News would have been all over that with wall to wall coverage. Conservative commentators like Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren, Laura Ingraham, Lou Dobbs, Pat Buchanan, Rush Limbaugh, Megyn Kelly and others would have been all over such a story with analysis from every angle. But, Fox News did not find the story very significant (maybe because it’s not a missing white woman … right Greta?). Apparently some guy went nuts after Barack Obama was elected as the first black president of the United States and it barely created a blip on the screens of those who control the Web site content at Fox News. Are we surprised? I’m not the least bit surprised by the meager story posted by Fox.
