Fox News host Steve Doocy tried to ambush Stamford, Conn. Mayor Dannel P. Malloy and caught a beat down for his efforts. Doocy brought Malloy on to try and make him look like the picture of wasteful spending, but found out that he didn’t have some chump that he could run roughshod over and intimidate by playing fast and loose with the truth. Repeatedly, Malloy called out Doocy for trying to cherry pick aspects of the stimulus that he did not think was appropriate to paint the entire stimulus with a broad brush to make Democrats look irresponsible (something Fox News does on a repeated basis). Doocy kept trying to insist that Malloy was trying to get $15 million for new athletic turf, but took it out of context over and over again.
