Fox News “analyst” Juan Williams is an intriguing cat. After smearing First Lady Michelle Obama for no good reason (comparing her to Stokely Carmichael), Williams was asked by National Public Radio to no longer list himself as being affiliated with NPR when appearing on Fox News. So, that was dropped from Fox News, but he was subsequently referred to as “AUTHOR OF ‘EYES ON THE PRIZE: AMERICA’SCIVIL RIGHTS YEARS.” This (I think disingenuously so) attempts to portray him as some liberal or some champion of civil rights. This is, in my opinion, in direct conflict with the role he most typically plays when he is on Fox News verbally attacking President Barack Obama and attacking the first lady. But, Fox News also is known to be disingenuous when it labels conservative nut Dick Morris (who is wrong more often than he is correct) as a “former Clinton adviser” on its broadcasts.
