Some of these messages left at the ACORN offices are nothing short of amazing. It shows the lowest of the scum who are supporting Sen. John McCain. These vicious attacks not only target ACORN people, but also Sen. Obama with hateful and racist language designed to intimidate, demean and assault. Huffington Post had an extensive story with audio clips of a sample of the verbal attacks (in the form of voice messages) left at ACORN. Whether you support ACORN or not, whether you support Sen. Obama or not, these attacks are counter to what this country is all about and is counter to what decent people should be all about. This is what happens when Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin incite their supporters by trying to paint Sen. Obama as a terrorist,a person who sympathizes with terrorists, who is not one of us, as a socialist, as a communist and as anti-American. These are the tactics being used by Sen. McCain, Gov. Palin and many of those who support the Republican ticket. Some of these messages are nothing short of frightening and chilling to the bone. It’s painful to listen to, but it’s important to understand how vile and hate-filled some people in our country can be at what seems to be the fear of a black president.
